Italian Crescent Bake
A homey weeknight meal.
1 Pound ground beef or ground turkey
1/4 Cup chopped onion
1 Cup marinara sauce (such as barilla)
1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
.5 Cup sour cream (optional)
1 Package crescent rolls
1/3 Cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 - 2 Tablespoons melted butter
Cook beef and onion over medium heat. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Combine cheese and sour cream in separate bowl. Pour beef into ungreased glass pie pan or pyrex dish. Top with cheese mix. Unroll dough over top. Spread parmesan and butter evenly over dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-25 minutes or until deep golden brown.
